Lettuce offers a mild sweetness, while tomatoes provide an acidity that helps cut through the richness of some of the other ingredients. All of those flavors come together in a balanced way that helps hit most flavor notes in an especially pleasing way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Textures<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Texture is another big thing in food. The balance of textures, be they crunchy, smooth, crispy, chewy, creamy, firm, or soft, is what makes food a delight to the sense of touch as well as taste. The chewiness of the bread, the crunch of the lettuce, the soft, creaminess of the avocado, the crispiness of the bacon all come together in a lovely combination of textures. It\u2019s part of what makes The Nauvoo\u2019s ABLT a delight to eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ABLT is quite the delicious sandwich. The ingredients lend themselves to an amazing combination of flavors and textures. It\u2019s no wonder that the BLT is such a popular sandwich.
